1lb week

Well after losing 10lbs in the first week I have come back down to earth, only 1 lb this week. This is usually the time I just say screw it, I can’t do it, I was just meant to be fat. But this time I really am going to try to stick with it, try to lose 5 lbs. this week and get back on track.  I really don’t know what it was that prevented any weight loss, I went to the gym 4 times last week, thought that I ate o.k.  Oh well I guess I’ll just keep on keepin’ on.

Maybe just look at the average of both weeks together. It’s a very respectable 2 week loss. 10 pounds is huge for 1 week. It may have been a bit misleading. You might have been dehydrated or something , who knows… I think you’re doing just fine. An 11 pound loss in 2 weeks I’d gladly take! Keep up the good work!

Please remember that losing weight too quickly is not healthy.

1 to 2 lbs a week is much better for your body to adjust to and it is easier on your heart. Rapid continual weight loss is a shock to your system and can cause major problems.

Please remember that consistency is much better then a flash in the pan!

    Keep your spirits up!

You can do it Bill. Patience is key. You had a great first week and maybe it was the little things…did you sneak any bites of food? I find that I unconsciously eat ALL the TIME and have to write things down to prevent that. Good going though, 11 pounds in two weeks is great!

Don’t worry so much about the numbers right now. Just eat right and exercise daily and the weight loss will follow. You are doing a great job. Keep it up.

That little voice that says rotten stuff to us should be spread with honey and left under a bees nest. Ive seen more damage done to myself by myself than by anyone else…

The great thing about this forum is, you get a hand up while your giving a hand up.

Congrats on the one pound brotha, we are going against the odds.
